My lessons are interactive as I support you on your personalised learning journey. You can expect an engaging, conversational-style lesson to help you feel at ease. I will work to understand your learning goals, review any examples you have to share and then tailor the lesson to your learning needs. You will gain practice examples and exemplars based on the levels you want to work towards, challenging and age-appropriate content to engage you, and an opportunity to consolidate your learning so that you can apply your learning and reflect on what you have gained in the lesson.

About me: My name is Jennifer and I am an experienced and dedicated English tutor with over a decade of teaching English Literature and Language across secondary, sixth form, and international contexts. I started tutoring 20 years ago and have taught English years 7-13 in China and the UK for 9 years. I have worked as an Examiner for marking GCSE and A-Level exams in English Literature and Language for over 10 years. I am a published author of 10 texts, study guides and exam preparation books in English Language for GCSE and A-Level students specialising in Elizabethan and Victorian literature.
