I am applying for the coaching role, as opposed to a teaching role. My method would be to let the student think about the impact of their reading - what did they read? And so what about it? What happens now? Reflective thought can help students to retain information. Also, to help explain process words and formatting of their work. Reflective learning is crucial to students. They must also take regular breaks in their reading for rest and refreshment to allow each chapter to 'sink in'. I may also ask students to not only focus on what they need to achieve now, but what they want to achieve in future and provide them with the tools to plan their careers.
