I am from Japan and I have been living in the UK for the last 18 years. I am a qualified Japanese teacher and have also studied linguistics to MA level. I understand a lot of people became interested in Japanese language through exposure to the culture (Anime, J-pop, food, travel, Japanese traditions etc.) and so will use this as a basis of your learning.

I will teach you conversational Japanese as well as writing and reading. If you have specific interests, such as desire to be able to read Manga in Japanese, I will design the lessons accordingly.
