Friendly GCSE English Tutor Helping Students Improve Grades and Confidence

Hi, I’m Ameerah, a friendly and dedicated GCSE English Language tutor who achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE English. As a recent student myself, I have a strong understanding of the current GCSE curriculum, exam requirements, and the techniques needed to achieve high grades.

I have previous tutoring experience through Alumni Tutor at Herringham Primary School, where I delivered personalised one-to-one sessions, created tailored lesson plans, and supported students with their individual learning needs. This experience helped me develop excellent communication, patience, and mentoring skills while building students’ confidence and academic ability.

My lessons are aimed at GCSE English Language students who want to improve their reading, writing, language analysis, and exam technique. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, whether they are looking to boost their confidence, improve coursework and exam performance, or work towards a higher grade.

Having recently completed my own GCSEs and achieved a Grade 8 in English, I can share effective revision strategies, exam techniques, and practical tips that helped me succeed. My goal is to create engaging, supportive lessons that help students reach their full potential and achieve the grades they are aiming for.
