I am a patient and positive language teacher with a Master’s degree in Spanish Philology and TESOL certificate. As a specialist in Spanish literature and culture I provide extensive support to students who are preparing for their A-level in Spanish.
I have broad experience in working with GCSE students (including pupils with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and/or ADHD) therefore I am up-to-date with the current syllabus of any examination board.
I also teach English as a Foreign Language to adults, teenagers and children preparing them for FCE, CAE, CPE and IELTS exams.
I have been working as a private tutor for the last 18 years, providing individual and group lessons to learners of all ages and levels, therefore I have great awareness of the students’ learning and emotional needs, as well as developing a wide range of teaching techniques. As a linguist with broad theoretical and practical knowledge of foreign language acquisition, I understand how students can acquire a language, and thus how to guide them in their learning.
