Qualified Primary School and 11+ teacher

I have always had a genuine passion for both teaching and learning. However, I understand that for many children, learning doesn’t always come easily—or feel enjoyable. There are times when it can be challenging, repetitive, or even frustrating, and that can affect a child’s confidence and motivation.
That’s where I come in. Lessons are planned and organised with any gaps in knowledge in mind.
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with over 12 years of classroom experience, working with children of varying abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles. My aim is not only to help children improve academically, but to help them develop a positive attitude towards learning. I want every student I work with to feel capable, confident, and proud of their progress.
I believe that children learn best when they feel supported, understood, and engaged. That’s why all of my lessons are carefully tailored to suit each individual student’s needs, pace, and learning style. Whether a child needs to build strong foundational skills, catch up on missed learning, or be stretched and challenged further, I adapt my teaching to ensure they get the most out of every session.
My lessons are interactive, structured, and enjoyable, designed to keep students motivated while making real progress. I use a variety of techniques and resources to ensure that learning remains fresh and engaging, while also reinforcing key concepts and skills.
