I am a tutor with over 10 years experience specialising in English and Maths from 4+ to GCSE

I have a real passion for teaching and have been tutoring children throughout my secondary school to the completion of my degree and beyond. My specialist knowledge from my psychology degree and expertise in education and child psychology allows me to bring out the very best from your child in all aspects. Every single one of my students have achieved top grades and come to me at a very low levels. I have had parents telling me the schools would like to speak to me because they can’t believe how much their child has excelled in such a short space of time. I am more than happy for you to speak to the parents (many of them!) to be testament to what I am saying.
My aim is to ensure that each child is making progress and working and achieving to the best of their ability. I provide a nurturing and supportive environment that allows children to learn and grow intellectually.I graduated in Psychology and worked with SEN children for a number of years, I learnt that each child’s mode of learning is unique, and I temper my approach accordingly.
I have worked with students that have come from a variety of backgrounds and different socio-economic levels. I know how cultural aspects demand a slightly different approach to teaching and engaging children and parents.
I get a lot of personal satisfaction when I see the outcomes my students achieve, and I endeavour to ensure that all children of all abilities are treated equally and equitably.
