Hello! My name is Terin and I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Oxford. In my GCSEs I achieved straight 9s in all the subjects I took, including Maths and English. In Sixth Form, I then went on to achieve A*s in Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Further Maths. My strong academic performance demonstrates the commitment, dedication and diligence that I have placed and continued to place in my studies, and can replicate this in the tutoring sessions that I provide. Additionally, my knowledge in the Maths and Sciences would ensure that students can reach their true potential regardless of their background.

In my tutoring sessions I aim to be engaging and supportive, gradually building your confidence on weaker topics, and exploring more niche questions on the topics you may feel more confident on. This would ensure that you are prepared and optimistic in regards to revision and exams. I also aim to provide clear explanations, deepen understanding on topics and to adapt my style of teaching in order to suit your needs.

Alongside my studies, I have run charity events, which has enabled me to organise activities, lead others and develop strong communication skills. I also have experience of mentoring younger students through my role as a Peer Educator, allowing me to break down more complex ideas into an easy-to-understand format, as well as to be a smiling face and active listener whom students could always turn to for support.
