About Me
I hold a degree in Graphic Design and bring 14 years of oil painting experience, along with 2 years of experience working in gouache. As a professional surface pattern designer, I specialize in florals, botanicals, and herbal subjects, and my personal painting practice spans chinoiserie and impressionism. This combination of formal design training, professional surface design work, and years of dedicated studio practice allows me to teach with both technical precision and genuine artistic insight.
I take a patient, structured approach to teaching and have experience working with children as well as adults. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student's goals, whether that means building strong fundamentals, refining technique, or exploring a specific style such as chinoiserie or botanical painting. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident developing their skills at their own pace.
