Experienced Middle Leader specialising in 5&6 SATs Prep

I am an experienced and passionate primary teacher and middle leader, specialising in Year 5 and 6, with a particular focus on preparing children for SATs assessments. I combine strong subject knowledge with a friendly, supportive approach, helping children build confidence, develop key skills and achieve their full potential.

With extensive experience leading year 6 and supporting colleagues throughout the school in the teaching of both maths and English, I have a strong understanding of how to identify gaps, tailor teaching and use assessment effectively to ensure children make excellent progress. I believe SATs preparation should be purposeful and positive, giving children the skills and confidence they need without unnecessary pressure.

I am particularly passionate about making learning accessible, engaging and enjoyable, while providing targeted support that meets each child's individual needs.
