Art and Art History Tutor, providing academic and vocational lessons to students of all ages

I am very accustomed to tutoring both online and in-person, having worked as a self-employed private tutor for the past 3 years.

Through trial and error, I have learnt that every student is completely unique. Some prefer visual leraning, some prefer being set tasks, some prefer learning in a group session, whilst some only want written feedback and very little verbal interaction. I will tailor my sessions to your needs, whether that be directed more towards quizzes, lectures, videos, interactive spider diagrams, detailed feedback or something else. Our first session will be a discussion of what you want to gain from this experience and the best tools I can give you to help you on your journey.

I always come to the lessons with a pre-discussed plan; but also with a willingness to adapt this based on my student's specific needs for that session. Working with many students with Special Educational Needs has taught me to be very patient and adaptable.

I have an undergraduate in Drama, and an MA in History of Art. I completed my Master's amidst the pandemic, so I have first-hand experience of how an online tutor can make or break your understanding of a subject.

I am a creative person through and through, but I would also consider myself an academic. I have a passion for research, learning and sharing information. I am absolutely certain that my wide range of knowledge and thirst to expand my repertoire will be an asset to your learning journey.
