French Tutor - Conversational and Grammar

I have a BA (Hons) degree in French and International Relations from The University of Reading and Sciences Politiques (Sciences Po), The University of Jean Moulin, Lyon. I have some experience teaching having taught English as a Foreign Language in France and in the UK.

After leaving University, I have had a successful career in marketing and advertising in London, Manchester and the Far East. Most recently, I spent 16 years based in Hong Kong as Managing Director and shareholder of a marketing business which we sold to Dentsu International, one of the largest advertising groups globally.

My aim now is to support the learning of French as a foreign languages among primary and secondary school age students. It is also to promote the idea of language as a passport to a greater understanding of cultures outside of the UK and as a means of opening up exciting opportunities to work overseas.
