Experienced IELTS and Proficiency Tutor specialising in English for Academic Purposes

I have been teaching English to all ages and levels for 24 years.

My specialisation is English for Academic Purposes, because I also spent 13 years editing and proofreading academic copy for publication in academic journals. Additionally, I am the author of 2 articles published in academic journals.

This means I have an excellent understanding of the required standards of English in academia.

I have taught IELTS and CPE for several years to university candidates, both undergraduate and postgraduate.

My lessons are relaxed and informal, and I listen and respond to the individual needs of each student, focusing on areas that need improvement.
