I happily offer lessons to GCSE and A-Level students aiming to broaden their reading for their university personal statements.

I'm a graduate with a BA in History from the University of Cambridge and very happy to put knowledge from both my degree and my time there to good use! I tutored this past summer in History reading and discussion, creating a tailored reading list for my student and spending one hour weekly discussing their thoughts and expanding on their ideas to aid their critical thinking. I also advised on their essay competition drafts. I'm happy to assist in coursework and essays with edits and discussions of how to improve. I am also happy to create a reading programme for students aiming to push themselves beyond their school curriculums for their personal statements.
