Advert description
My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to the needs of each student. I teach Social Care, Social Work, and related Health & Social Sciences subjects, helping learners understand theory, apply it to practice, and build strong academic skills. Every session is designed to make complex ideas clear, accessible, and relevant to real‑world settings.
I usually begin by checking in on your current goals, assignments, or areas you want to strengthen. From there, we work through topics step‑by‑step using clear explanations, practical examples, and discussion. I use a coaching‑style approach that encourages confidence, critical thinking, and independent learning. You’ll have space to ask questions, explore ideas, and practise applying concepts to case studies or scenarios.
Lessons may include:
• Breaking down theory, legislation, and frameworks
• Support with assignments, reflective writing, and academic structure
• Study‑skills coaching, including planning, organisation, and research
• Guidance on linking theory to practice
• Progress check‑ins to help you stay on track
With experience in social care, education, accessibility, and learner support, I understand the pressures students face. My sessions are calm, encouraging, and focused on helping you grow — academically, professionally, and in confidence. I aim to create a safe, inclusive space where you feel supported, motivated, and able to reach your potential.
