Guitar, Bass & Ukulele Tutor – All Ages & Levels Welcome
I’m a professional musician and music tutor with over 20 years’ experience teaching guitar, bass guitar, ukulele and music theory to students of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time, returning after a long break, or looking to improve confidence, technique or musical understanding, I tailor lessons to suit you.
My teaching style is relaxed, encouraging and practical. I believe learning music should be enjoyable, confidence-building and inspiring, not intimidating. Lessons are always adapted to the individual — whether that means learning songs you love, building solid foundations, developing rhythm and timing, or understanding the “why” behind the music through clear, accessible theory.

• Bass guitar
• Ukulele
• Music theory (from basics to more advanced concepts)
I have extensive experience teaching children, teenagers and adults, both one-to-one and in group settings, and I’m particularly good at helping students who feel unsure, lack confidence, or think they’re “not musical”. I also support learners with different needs by adapting pace and approach to suit each individual.
Alongside teaching, I’m an active professional musician with experience in performing, touring, recording and composing, which I bring into lessons in a practical, real-world way.
