I’m a professional grant writer with over eight years’ experience working in the UK charity sector, where I specialise in turning complex ideas into clear, compelling and evidence-based writing.

Through my day job I’ve written successful funding bids, reports and research summaries, and regularly support colleagues to structure arguments, strengthen their writing and communicate ideas with confidence. I’m particularly good at helping people who feel overwhelmed by a blank page to break things down into manageable steps.

I can support with essay writing and structure, coursework and assignments, personal statements and applications, proofreading and editing, research skills and critical thinking, clear, persuasive and evidence-based writing.

My approach is friendly, practical and non-judgemental. I focus on building your confidence as well as improving the specific piece of work in front of us. Rather than just correcting things for you, I explain why changes work, so you develop skills you can use independently.

I’m especially well-suited to supporting students in humanities and social science subjects, as well as anyone working on reflective or analytical writing. I’m reliable, detail-oriented and easy to work with, and I tailor each session to what you actually need, whether that’s big picture thinking or line-by-line feedback. I'm also neurodivergent and can support young people who are neurodivergent themselves.
