Able to help with English from primary, through KS4 and KS4 to GCSE and A Level

I'm inspired in my teaching approach by the famous Physician Richard Feynman, who had an unorthodox approach to his own learning as a freshman at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Rather than study textbooks from 'cover to cover' in the orthodox and teacher-prescribed method of his peers, Feynman would instead autonomously 'drill down' on some specific interesting problem or issue. While I can take the orthodox approach of working through a set curriculum, 1:1 tutoring offers the opportunity to focus on specific issues which might be blocking a student's progress - at any stage - from the phonics decoding of early reading, to higher-order thinking skills involved in Literary Criticism or writing an academic essay. Often the student doesn't know what these 'weaknesses', 'barriers' or problems may be, and so part of my service is to help students screen for and identify these -- if they should so wish.
