Will is a fantastic tutor. He happily overran every lesson, provided detailed feedback on homework and was quick to answer any questions I had over text. We went through the HSK1 specification as a guide but Will was flexible and we often deviated into less academic but just as useful and perhaps more ‘authentic’, practical tips based on his time living in Beijing.
Will’s wife was also often on board to jump in and contribute with suggestions and corrections. A great team!
I’m heading off to Beijing very soon and certainly feel more prepared and less intimidated by the language barrier.

It was a privilege to tutor Josh and his natural talent for learning Chinese, and consistent study outside of class means he will make very rapid progress in China. The HSK system is a good framework to work from as students can study it anywhere in the world and HSK exams are a good way to motivate and monitor progress.
