I have over 4 years of teaching experience. I am a CELTA-qualified teacher. I have worked with beginner-level Portuguese students and A2+ students with a variety of native languages such as Polish, Italian, German, Ukrainian, Brazilian, Portuguese and French. If you are prepping for interviews, need help navigating a new English work environment or require a tutor for your child, I'm your teacher. I am also experienced in helping students prepare for IELTS. I spent 2 years as a gymnastics coach in London with children learning English as a second language. I also have extensive experience teaching business English from entry-level positions to executives, navigating negotiations and human resources. I use the direct method and full immersion during classes. I provide relevant and engaging material while working on listening, speaking, and reading. I offer a positive educational environment. My accent is from the South East of England, I can train you to speak with Received Pronunciation. If you wish to focus on accent training, the audio-lingual method interlaced with communicative language teaching is best. I am constantly engaged in new language learning, which helps me provide a student-centred experience. I know how important it is to keep language learning fun and engaging whilst remaining goal-focused to keep progressing.
