Guitar teacher who specialising in teaching guitar to all ages of any skill!

I have over a year of experience teaching guitar both at home and in school settings, working with students of different ages and ability levels. One of my main strengths as a guitar teacher is my patience and ability to adapt lessons to suit each student’s learning style and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals, such as technique, rhythm, and basic music theory, while also keeping lessons enjoyable by including songs students like. I am good at creating a supportive and encouraging environment, which helps students feel comfortable, motivated, and confident in their progress. Teaching in schools has also strengthened my classroom management skills and my ability to explain concepts clearly to groups as well as individuals.

Like any developing teacher, I also recognize areas where I can improve. At times, I can be overly focused on ensuring students understand everything perfectly, which may slow the pace of lessons. I am working on balancing thorough explanations with maintaining momentum and variety. I am also continuing to expand my knowledge of different music styles and advanced techniques so I can offer even more to my students. Overall, my experience has helped me grow into a confident, dedicated guitar tutor who is committed to continuous improvement and effective teaching.
