I am a passionate and empathetic teacher who would like to teach English Language and Literature to GCSE students of any ability.

I would first conduct an interview with the student in order to identify their goals and how they would achieve it. For example, if a student was struggling with time management, we would go over past papers and I would teach them a quick and efficient structure to answer each question. If they were of lower ability I would construct engaging lesson plans involving techniques such as active recall to show that learning can be fun and information can be condensed yet retained. This worked when I was informally teaching younger siblings and raised my brothers grade from a 5 to an 8.
