I'm a performing musician and a patient, practical teacher, who focuses on what the pupil is looking to get out of lessons.

I'm a performing musician with over five years' experience teaching guitar, piano and ukulele to students of all ages and abilities, from first-time beginners to returning players. I've taught RSL and ABRSM grades as well as freeform, student-led lessons, and I also teach composition and songwriting for anyone who wants to write their own music. My BSc (1st) in Sound Technology means I can also help you get a clear, professional sound in online lessons. My approach is practical and patient. We'll agree clear goals at the start, whether that's passing an exam, learning your favourite songs or building confidence to perform. I'll pace every lesson to you and build technique through the music you actually want to play, so you see steady progress and enjoy every session. I run my own practice, Snug Tuition, so lessons are personal, flexible and shaped around you.
