SEN tutor with 10 years experience, prioritising children building self-esteem through learning

Hi! I’m Lauren, a flexible tutor mainly specialising in KS1-3 Maths and English, with 10 years of experience working successfully with children of a variety of ages and abilities.

My main aim when working with children is to not only teach a subject and check understanding, but to increase self-esteem by helping children to explore their strengths and identify any barriers to learning that may have arisen.

I’m professional and hard-working with high standards for what I hope to achieve, as well as friendly, fun-loving and creative. My favourite part of my job has always been helping children to overcome struggles, understand the real-life reasons for their learning and, most importantly, enjoy their education!
