Advert description
I applied to study Medicine in October of 2025, securing 5/5 offers, including Cambridge, Imperial College London, UCL and King's College London for Medicine, as well as to Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) for Biomedical Sciences, with my firm choice currently the University of Cambridge.
The summer before Year 13 is the most critical phase of an application for medicine. I was fortunate enough to have a wise and experienced guide throughout my medicine application, and I hope to be such a guide for my students too.
Having gone through the entire medicine application process in the most recent cycle,
I have experienced both MMI-style and Oxbridge style, science-focussed panel interviews, and am in a unique position to advise students applying this cycle, from writing personal statements, to preparing for the UCAT, as well as for interviews.
I have first-hand experience of the changes to the UCAT this cycle, including the effects of the removal of the BMAT, giving me an intimate understanding of how to succeed in this space. I achieved 2320/2700 on the UCAT in summer 2025, equating to the 95th percentile, including a Band 1 on the Situational Judgement Test. This score allowed me to attain interviews at all of the universities I applied to.
I achieved 11 Grade 9s and one Grade 8 (English Literature) at GCSE, and have been predicted the maximum possible score of 45 points in the IB Diploma, equivalent to 4A* at A-Level.
