3 Years Tutoring Experience | GCSE, KS3, 11+ Mathematics | Proven Track Record

I am a First Class Honours Mathematics graduate from the University of Leeds, with over 300 hours of tutoring experience across the 11+ to GCSE range. My recent students have achieved excellent results: one secured a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics, while another consistently scored over 85% in their 11+ mocks.

I believe every child can excel given the right environment. Many students are anxious about mathematics, often claiming they aren't wired for it or disliking the subject entirely. During my lessons, I aim to challenge these preconceptions and foster an environment where self-confidence is instilled, engaging their curiosity through open communication and questioning. Central to this is the patience I bring to my teaching, as I understand that learning and understanding take time.
