I hold a business degree from Kedge, one of the top tier French business schools. I worked for 20 years as a specialist translator and interpreter (English into French) and a business owner in the UK.

People like my progressive approach to teaching: is it "le table" or "la table"? Not that it does not matter, but I am not going to correct you if you call a table a "he" (table is a good friend, she does not mind). Learning French must be joyful and I refuse to see my students getting disheartened when too many difficulties are piled up. Your French will refine itself over time, without straining your memory.

I also use a lot of recent video clips relating to your industry: this helps you get accustomed to different speakers, accents. This helps you become autonomous.

I also like teaching a few recent slang words that will make your French-speaking colleagues raise an appreciative eyebrow.
