I am a private tutor, ranked 1st in my year group, I have all 9-7's. My specialties are biology, chemistry and English literature. Let's talk!

I teach the transition between secondary and GCSE knowledge, but can also teach at a GCSE level. My services are cheaper than most, but I do have outstanding 9-7 qualifications, and can therefore teach at that level.

My lessons are different, I help students with a step by step unique process, tailored to their needs.

Here's what a breakdown of my lessons will usually look like:

Phase 1 (5 minutes): a starter/recall based on last lesson knowledge/pre reading task I've set

Phase 2 (10 minutes): mark starter and run through questions that you struggled on

Phase 3 (30 minutes): the bulk of the lesson - content will be covered in a short, quick and effective way as studies have proven to show that the brain captured information through quick rapid bursts of repetition

Phase 4 (10 minutes): run through a typical exam question based on that specific topic + any questions on content

Phase 5 (5 minutes): discuss what will happen next lesson + expectations + any tasks that I may set

This is what a usual 1 hour lesson will look like - I would only recommend 1 hour lessons with me, as 2 hours may seem overwhelming. 1-3 sessions a week is what I would recommend as well in order to boost repetition and a schedule with young students.
