Advert description
I have been teaching ICT/Computer Science for 10 years now. Within my teaching career I have taught KS3 and KS4 OCR Computing. I have also taught BTEC Level 2 and 3 ICT. Currently I am teaching KS3 and KS4 OCR Computing.
With years of teaching experience, I offer high quality and well structured tuition sessions for learners that will be taking GCSE Computer Science. I also provide general ICT & Computing classes for learners that are willing to broaden their knowledge or expertise in this area.
I can tailor the lessons around what you as a student would want, whether it be grasping the basics, explanations of complex concepts or going through exam questions. I am up to date with any new teaching pedagogy and like to ensure that any emerging educational research is always reflected in my teaching sessions.
I currently am an Assessor for both OCR and Pearson and have experience marking exam papers that have been taken by students in the summer. This provides me with the experience to understand exactly what answers should entail in order to achieve the full marks and what examiners like me look for in an exam answer to award the mark. This also allows me to provide learners with tips and guidance on how to complete an exam paper, which questions to complete first and how much time should be roughly allocated to each type of question.
I have a range of resources that would be made available and help you with your studies.
Note: Please note I do not provide help directly with live university assignments
