I am a genomicist, ecologist, microbiologist and oceanographer, as well as certified secondary science teacher. I will work with you to determine concrete distilled learning objectives, as well as long term goals on how to learn, not just what to learn. We will work together to make sure what you need to know is learned, not just memorized, but fully integrated into the way you think. This can be done by using research-based approaches such as multiple entry points to learning and hands on engaging scientific work.
