I have an Advanced Level of English, I went to an international school so I have been speaking English almost all my life

I am a fourth year student studying a joint degree of psychology and business in Stirling, Scotland. During the summer of 2020 and 2021, I was able to rotate in my job experiences and I had the opportunity to teach children on summer. This was possible because my godfather offered me the opportunity to teach English to his children one or two days a week for almost a month each summer. My lessons would start by putting them a song in English so that they would feel comfortable to start the lesson. After I would start teaching them verbs, basic adjectives and essential vocabulary, eventually, I would teach them how to create sentences. We practiced both writing and speaking in a way that we all would be engaged (using activities) so that they would not get distracted easily. This helped me gain experience regarding my teaching skills and preparing each class in advance helped me improve my organizational skills. I was very grateful for this since I also love working with children because they are so fun and one can also learn from them in the process.
