Advert description
Hi! I’m Evan — a passionate piano tutor, recording musician, producer, and composer, and I love helping students discover the joy of making music at the piano.
Whether you’re an adult beginner finally starting something you’ve always wanted to try, or a parent looking for a supportive and inspiring teacher for your child, my lessons are carefully tailored to suit each student’s goals, personality, and learning style.
No two students are the same — and neither are my lessons.
I design every session to be:
Tailored – adapted to your level, interests, and pace
Engaging – practical, hands-on, and never boring
Creative – encouraging exploration, improvisation, and musical expression
Fun & confidence-building – learning should feel rewarding, not intimidating
For adults, I focus on creating a relaxed, pressure-free environment where you can enjoy progress without feeling overwhelmed. For children, lessons are structured but playful, keeping them motivated while developing strong musical foundations.
Alongside piano technique and reading music, I draw on my experience as a recording musician, producer, and composer to give students a broader understanding of music. This means:
Learning how music actually works, not just what to play
Developing rhythm, listening skills, and musicality
Introducing composition and improvisation where appropriate
Helping students feel creative, not robotic, at the piano
For children, this builds long-term enthusiasm and confidence. For adults, it makes learning feel meaningful and expressive rather than purely technical.
I’m patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. I aim to:
Build confidence from the very first lesson
Celebrate small wins and steady improvement
Create a positive relationship with music that lasts beyond lessons
Parents can expect clear communication, structured progress, and a tutor who genuinely cares about their child’s musical development.
Whether your goal is to play for fun, build a solid foundation, or explore creativity through music, I’d love to help you (or your child) get there.
If you’re looking for piano lessons that are personal, inspiring, and enjoyable, feel free to get in touch — I’d be happy to chat and answer any questions.
