Fun French Lessons for all, young and old!

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Peter!

I am an experienced teacher of French, working for over 30 years in Secondary, Primary and Special Schools in Merseyside, Cheshire and Staffordshire. I tailor my lessons to your specific requirements, whether it's supporting you with what you are already doing at school, Sixth Form, College or University or whether you are keen to improve your conversational French for your upcoming holidays!

I have taught GCSE and A Level French for over 30 years and have been an A Level Examination officer for AQA. I have taught French to Primary School pupils from Year 1 to Year 6, and beginners French to children with Autism. I have taught conversational French to adults which was great fun! My best student was Albert from Liverpool who was 82 years old!

During the pandemic, I taught the vast majority of lessons via Teams and developed some great teaching skills that helped pupils to engage with the lesson for the hour.

My style is very hands on and I will ensure that your time online will be maximized by a variety of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing tasks. Interested in sport, music, fashion. Your lessons will be adapted to what you are passionate about.

I pride myself in developing a really positive working relationship and will provide plenty of support as you learn the beautiful French language. Mistakes are ok! That's how we learn!

Materials are current and will give you or your child a head start in life however you choose to use your French language skills!
