I look at what the child’s targets and school report says and I assess them and then decide what subjects to focus on. I use different methods such as online games and teaching resources as well as workbooks and paper exercises. We go at the child’s pace but make sure we cover enough to show progress. I also build up their self esteem and confidence. They can also share what they have misunderstood at school that week and we can practice more of that skill.
