Advert description
I’m a friendly, patient and encouraging medical student who genuinely enjoys helping others understand subjects that can initially feel overwhelming. I aim to make lessons relaxed and approachable while still being focused and productive.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE Biology and Chemistry students of all abilities — whether you’re struggling with the basics, looking to build confidence, aiming to improve your grades, or already achieving highly and want to push towards the top marks.
I particularly enjoy helping students who feel that they’re “just not a science person” discover that they can understand the subject. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s individual goals, learning style and areas for improvement.
I make GCSE Biology and Chemistry feel much simpler by breaking down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and focusing on why things work, not just memorising facts.
As a medical student at the University of Manchester, I have a strong foundation in both subjects and achieved Grade 9s (All A*s) in GCSE Biology and Chemistry and A+ and A grades at A-Level. I also have experience mentoring GCSE students, so I understand how to explain challenging concepts in a way that actually makes sense.
My lessons are tailored to each student — whether you need to build confidence from the basics, improve exam technique, tackle tricky topics or push towards the very top grades. I use active recall, exam questions and personalised explanations to help students become more confident and independent learners.
