I'm a qualified primary teacher (QTS) with over ten years' classroom experience, specialising in English, phonics and reading. I start with a short assessment to understand exactly where a pupil needs support, then build a simple, personalised plan with clear progress updates for parents. I've helped raise Phonics Screening pass rates from 67% to 91% and KS1 Reading attainment from 68% to 84%, much of it through 1:1 and small-group teaching. I'm patient and encouraging, with particular experience supporting SEND and less confident learners, and I cover English, phonics, SATs and 11+ preparation from Reception to Year 6.
