Advert description
I first discovered my deep passion for the biological sciences when engaging in a thoughtful but heated debate with my biology teacher at school. Since then, I have found that these discussions can change and develop a student’s perception of a subject so I strive to formulate my lessons to maximise a student’s engagement so that they can appreciate the wonders of Biology and Chemistry beyond the focus of their public exams.
Having tutored many students at the GCSE level who went on to score top grades using my methods, I believe that a genuine understanding of the subject gives students the strongest foundation for achieving excellent examination results.
That debate eventually led me onto a path of studying medicine, and now, as a first-year medical student at the University of Oxford, I aim to combine academic rigour with enthusiasm, helping students build confidence, achieve their goals and develop a lasting appreciation for the biological sciences.
