French teacher with many years experience from beginner to GCSE

I believe that lessons need to be tailored to the student, I am happy to create low demand or SEND friendly sessions and resources (as I am also trained SENCO), I have many years experience and can be flexible with lesson styles. I like to give each student autonomy over their lessons so that they can reach their specific goals.


I am a very experienced teacher and have taught many different students in mainstream schools in the UK. I currently home educate my son, who is in Year 7.
We are all different and that's what makes teaching so exciting!
I love my subject and I know it very well after studying it at university and then going on to work in France and Spain before training as a teacher.
I am flexible and tailor the sessions to cover whatever topics or areas you choose. Maybe you have an exam to prepare for, in which case - I can create a suggested plan of action for you, which we can adapt to suit your preferences but still get you the result you're looking for. Maybe you want to improve conversational or holiday language skills, we can work through some different speaking activities which will build your confidence over time.
Getting to know people, learning about their goals and dreams and then supporting them using my knowledge and passion for my subject is why I got into teaching so many years ago!
I have also trained in Special Educational Needs and am able to adapt my sessions to support a variety of neurodiverse needs. I would love to meet online before starting any sessions because I think it's important you also get a tutor that is the correct match for you, too.
