Creative Maths Tutor - Primary, Secondary, GCSE and Functional Skills, with particular SEND and Mastery expertise

I am a qualified Maths teacher with over 20 years classroom experience. I am based in Shrewsbury and work Monday to Friday during term time - but am very flexible on evenings, weekends and during school holidays. I am happy to work remotely, or face to face for students who are local to me. I have excellent communication, organisation and support skills, allowing me to engage effectively with a wide range of students, and help nurture an inclusive, friendly and positive culture wherever I work. I am passionate about making Maths accessible to all and have developed proven strategies for overcoming Maths anxiety and building confidence. I am skilled at working with SEND students, and delivering subject content (from KS1 up to Functional Skills and GCSE) in an engaging and creative way.
