Kristy trained as an artistic director and practitioner at the world famous London Central School of Speech and Drama (gaining an MA in Actor Coaching and Theatre Direction) before training as a qualified teacher in Primary Education (gaining double distinction PGCE with QTS).
With her specialist and unique skills combining both the theatre and educational sector, she is able to offer personalised engaging tuition that promotes a love of learning. Her energy, nurturing nature, and excellent communication skills means she has worked widely with a range of pupils and professionals of all ages. She will make boring learning come to life!
Kristy has worked as a KS1 & KS2 teacher across both mainstream and private schools. Prior to this, she worked as a Schools Manager in Sussex, Lead Trainer for the National Citizen Service, and Head of Centre for an independent school for children with additional needs, before opening two of her own performing arts schools.
Kristy holds an Enhanced DBS and is dedicated to providing professional, motivating tutoring for both high achievers and underperforming pupils in a supportive and comfortable environment.
