Native Mandarin tutor offering personalised Chinese lessons tailored to your level and goals

I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with a Master’s degree in Translation Studies from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor’s degree in English with a teacher education background. I also hold a teaching qualification and have experience in both one-to-one tutoring and classroom teaching. My lessons are tailored to each student’s current level, learning needs and personal goals. I can support learners with Mandarin pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, speaking and everyday communication. I focus on explaining language clearly and helping students understand how Chinese is naturally used in context. I also monitor progress and adapt lesson content based on areas that need further practice. With my background in language teaching and Chinese-English translation, I understand the challenges involved in learning another language and aim to create lessons that are practical, supportive and suited to each learner’s pace.
