I’m a teacher helping beginners and intermediate learners improve confidence, communication, and grammar!

I have years of experience providing one-on-one English tutoring to students at different academic levels. I hold a B.A. and am currently working toward a M.A. in English. I am also working toward my CETLA certification, further developing my skills and knowledge in English language teaching and instruction. I have primarily worked with middle school and high school students, helping them strengthen their reading and writing skills, understand assignments, and develop greater confidence in their English abilities. My tutoring experience includes helping students with reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and organizing their ideas. I enjoy working through assignments with students step by step, explaining concepts in a clear and approachable way, and helping them develop the skills and confidence to complete their work independently. My experience has primarily been in one-on-one tutoring settings, which has allowed me to adapt my approach to each student’s individual learning style, needs, and goals. I believe patience, encouragement, and clear communication are essential to creating a positive learning experience. I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and productive learning environment!
