Languages teacher, specialising in Spanish and French

I am bilingual in Spanish and English, as well as speaking French. I have a few years of experience in teaching languages as well a huge variety of other subjects and 10 years of educating in total!

I studied Linguistics with Spanish to degree level and also am a qualified specialist in teaching Foreign Languages (PGCE).

I'm currently learning Russian, Italian, Welsh and German!

I like to get students familiar with a small set of vocabulary at a time, recycling basic chunks of it to practice the key skills (reading/listening/translating/speaking/writing) and explore new concepts of grammar that help with more spontaneous use of languages!

I have a mix of approaches ranging from short tasks and self-marking/reflection learning to games and competitions!

Firstly, and most importantly, I always like to try and book a free 15 minute introduction session to get to know new students and tailor a course specific to them!
