Advert description
I am a first-year Mathematics student at the University of St Andrews, one of the UK's top-ranked universities, offering personalised one-to-one tutoring in Maths for GCSE and IGCSE students. Having recently completed the Cambridge International curriculum myself, achieving an A in both IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics, I have a thorough and up-to-date understanding of exactly what these exams require and how to prepare for them effectively.
I also know firsthand that maths does not always come easily — having faced my own challenges along the way, I understand the frustration that students can feel and I know what it takes to work through difficult material and come out the other side. This makes me a more empathetic and effective tutor, one who genuinely understands where a student might be struggling and how to help them move forward.
I tailor every session to the individual student, focusing on building genuine understanding of core concepts rather than simply memorising methods. Whether a student is struggling with algebra, geometry, statistics or any other area of the syllabus, I work patiently through the material at a pace that suits them.
I am reliable, approachable and passionate about making maths clear and accessible.
