I have worked as a Mathematics teacher for fourteen years, across public and private secondary schools. Of these fourteen years, I worked as a full-time teacher in Temple Secondary school Lagos as an IGCSE Math tutor for 10years and I currently work as an online tutor privately for IGCSE, GCSE and SAT Math.

My to-go philosophy is believing in every child, as children catch up at different times/stages in life. We all know that most of the basic skills like critical thinking, precision, decision making that guide Mathematics as a course/subject are also applicable to all aspects of life, I believe there is a constant need to increase student interest and improvement in this Subject so that students can deal with life matters properly as they grow. Teaching formulas must be applied accordingly learners learn differently. I have worked with students who had given up on themselves but we worked through the rebuilding confidence phase and were able to achieve results. As a teacher, attention to details is key to knowing what works for each learner and so I take notes, learn my learners and walk them through paths that improve their learning skills. I love to see students break the jinx of not loving mathematics just because they have been told that it is a difficult subject.
