I am here to get you to pass that exam, to learn that grammar, to expand your vocabulary, to get you holding real conversations and understanding German texts at all levels. I can teach any way you like! Most people - depending on their learning level - enjoy a variety of tasks to help prevent the lessons from becoming too dry, and we can do this through a variety of different exercises such as conversation practice, games, listening exercises (including music or entertaining videos!) and tailored structured learning such as grammar or vocabulary help which can (if you wish) closely follow all of the major GCSE/Nat5 and A-Level/Higher exam board specifications. On the other hand, if you prefer something more formal, I am more than happy to sit down with you and explain complicated grammar rules, vocabulary, go through homework, do mock exams, or help you come up with your own self-learning plan in a no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point manner. Tailoring your learning experience and making sure it is something that works for YOU is my main focus!

I would also enjoy helping you explore not just the German language, but also German literature. If you're studying any particular books or films (perhaps for your A-levels, highers, or even just for fun) I am able to help you analyse and interpret them, discuss the various ideas within, or even just being there to help you understand the language used and the main plot points involved.
