Hi, I’m Diya, a Psychology undergraduate at the University of Warwick. I offer friendly, supportive, and structured psychology tutoring for GCSE, A-Level, and beginner university students who want to feel more confident with the subject.
My lessons are designed around each student’s needs. Some students may want help understanding key theories and studies, while others may need support with essay planning, evaluation points, research methods, revision, or exam technique. I focus on making psychology feel clear and manageable by breaking down difficult topics into simple explanations, using examples, and checking understanding throughout the lesson.
I can help with areas such as social psychology, developmental psychology, individual differences, biopsychology, cognitive psychology, and research methods. I also support students with structuring essays, improving written answers, creating revision plans, and practising exam-style questions.
My teaching style is patient, organised, and encouraging. I know that psychology can sometimes feel content-heavy, especially when there are lots of studies, names, and evaluation points to remember. My aim is to help students not only memorise information, but actually understand it and feel confident applying it in exams or assignments.
A typical lesson may include a quick recap, topic explanation, worked examples, active recall, practice questions, and feedback. I am happy to adapt the pace depending on what the student needs, whether that is building basic understanding or pushing for higher-level answers.I also aim to create a comfortable space where students feel able to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence without feeling judged during each lesson.
