I'm an engineering researcher with years of teaching experience, currently a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Greenwich and previously a Teaching Assistant at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, where maths underpinned everything I taught — from circuits to control systems. That's given me a sharp sense of exactly where algebra tends to break down for students, and why. I don't teach from one fixed script. Some students need to see the pattern before the rule clicks; others need the rule first and the pattern follows. I figure out which applies to you early on, then adapt the pace and explanation style around it rather than pushing through material you're not ready for. Lessons are built around your actual goals, whether that's GCSE, A-Level, or general confidence with equations, functions and problem-solving, with plenty of worked examples and room to ask "why" until it genuinely sticks — not just until you can repeat the steps.
