Advert description
I am passionate about design, art and architecture. As a recent architecture graduate from Loughborough University (ranked 1st by Times 2026), I can help you understand what architecture schools actually expect. I was a top architecture student, being nominated for the Architect's Journal Student Prize.
I am eager to teach and share my passion for drawing, making and digital architecture skills.
My tutoring approach is practical, encouraging and student-tailored. I help students to develop their own ideas and visual language rather than dictating an approach. Sessions are structured around the student's goals, such as developing a portfolio, preparing university applications, interview practice or learning software.
I start with a student's current work, identifying areas to improve. Then, we work through practical exercises with directly applicable outcomes. For design and portfolio work, I appreciate discussion and questions to help students understand why something works and how it could be developed further.
Lessons are typically 1-2 hours, dependant on student age and objectives. Sessions can be online or in-person. I charge £24/hr.
I am a Part 1 architecture graduate (1st Class Honours, Loughborough University) with a year of professional experience working in an architecture practice. I am an experienced architectural designer, with apt skills in visual communication, drawing and model-making. Also, I can support students with software including with software including Rhino, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
I offer lessons for GCSE and A-Level Art & Design students, students preparing architecture or art university applications, and undergraduate architecture students looking for additional support with design projects, portfolios or software. I am happy to work with beginners as well as more advanced students.
