Science and Maths teacher for all ages (GCSE and A-level)

I have a BSc in Biochemistry from King’s College London and am currently completing a PGCE in Chemistry at King’s. I teach all sciences and maths at GCSE, and Biology and Chemistry at A-level.
I’ve tutored GCSE and A-level students privately for the past three years. I’ve found that students learn best when they work through challenging topics themselves, with step-by-step support (scaffolding) from me. I use worked examples a lot, because they help students fully understand a method before they try problems on their own. For students in exam years (Year 11 and Year 13), I also set regular exam-question practice so they become quicker and more confident.
